Starting with Estée Lauder. In the late 1920’s she began selling lotions, cremes, rouges, and fragrances to salons that her uncle made. In 1946 the two launched Estée Lauder Cosmetic Co. in New York and in 1953 she released her first fragrance and bath oil. Youth-Dew was still a beloved product by the 1980s.
